Beloved wife of the late John F. “Jack” Bath for 64 years; loving mother of Nancy (Frank) Pleasants and the late Linda (the late Joe) Schutzberg; cherished grandmother of Stephen Shutzberg, Mark Shutzberg, Matthew (Morgan) Hayward, Zachary Hayward, and Danielle Pleasants; daughter of the late Michael Paul and Gertrude Bridget (O’Neill) Long; sister of the late Dorothy Thomas and sister-in-law of Ruth Hahn and Janet Carey. LaVerne was a dedicated member of Holy Child Parish. Family and friends received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at Holy Child of Corpus Christi Parish. Interment private.
