Age 60, of Baldwin Twp., passed away on June 17, 2024. Son of the late Abiathar “Abby” and Betty Jane Bishop, beloved fiancé of Lori King, loving father of Lyssa (Tim) Gazdich, Brett (Lety) Bishop, Jr., and Bria (Brett Perry) Bishop, devoted grandfather of Vincenzo Bishop, Nolan Gazdich, Bruno Bishop, and Adeline Gazdich, great friends of Lori’s children, Christopher Howells and Devin Howells, brother of Abby (Susan) Bishop and Matthew (Craig Chapman) Bishop, Godfather of Malena Rodriguez and Gianna Callaway, uncle of Alexandra (Andrew) Flagg and Victoria (Nathan) Lojek. Brett worked as a supervisor of maintenance and facilities for Allegheny County, for the past 33 years. He was a member of the Jugo Slav Club, Bethel Park American Legion, and South Park V.F.W. He loved to make wine and soppressata, to share with his family and friends. He was an avid sports enthusiast, who enjoyed playing golf and basketball. Friends received Monday, June 24, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a Blessing Service will be held Tuesday, June 25, at 11 am.
