GEORGE

Age 75, of Cuddy, on September 1, 2023. Beloved husband of Mary M. (Papakie) Bourg for 52 years; preceded in death by his parents Henry and Anna (Saussol) Bourg and 9 siblings; cherished father of Stacy Tower and Jaime Miller, and son-in-laws Mark Tower and Barry Miller Jr.; loving brother of Robert (Judy) Bourg; proud grandfather of Corey Tower, Marissa Bourg, Kierstyn Tower, Andrew Tower, Barry Miller III, and Colton Miller; also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. George served proudly with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Cecil American Legion and the Alpine Club. From coaching his daughter’s softball team, to watching his grandchildren play sports, George never missed a game. He loved fishing with his grandsons and his Chevy Silverado trucks. He adored his grandchildren (they adored him too), and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to share in a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, September 9, at 3 pm, at Calvary Full Gospel Church,538 Hickory Grade Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017. Burial with full military honors will be held on Monday, September 11, at 2:30 pm, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.
