Obituary of John Kotzuk

Age 100, of Upper St. Clair, on February 17, 2022. Beloved husband for 71 years of the late Joan Patricia (Clegg) Kotzuk; loving father of Janice (Charlie) Auth, Karen (Robert) Ryder, Kathryn (Dennis) Desmond, Joyce Dawes and John Kotzuk; cherished grandfather of Naomi, Ilona, Sasha, Evan and Elisabeth and great grandfather of five. John loved England, which is where he met the love of his life, during WWII while he was serving with the U.S. Air Force. He worked for 32 years for Borroughs Corporation as a Field Service Engineer. He was a handy man, who could build and fix anything. John was passionate about the arts, writing for USC Magazine for 10 years; he also wrote many short stories, enjoyed music, and Shakespeare. In retirement he loved traveling back to England with Joan. Family and friends received on Monday from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 1 PM at Holy Child Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
