Age 82, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Bridgeville, on August 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Betty Jane (Boucher) Rothermund for 48 years; loving father of Jerome (Kayo) Rothermund and Jodi Rothermund; grandfather of Julia and Justin Rothermund; son of the late Nelson and Elizabeth (Weber) Rothermund; cherished brother of Richard and the late Robert Rothermund and favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ronald was an employee of Cyclops Steel for 24 years and retired as a Senior Systems Analyst with Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was a dedicated choir member at Faith Lutheran Church. Ronald loved his family, traveling and sports, especially golf. Family and friends received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 80 Bartley Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or to the American Heart Association.

We shared many good times with Ron and Ron and BJ and we will miss him. He was a kind caring friend.

We had wonderful times with Ron & BJ - in card club, annual trip to Myrtle Beach, so many good times. Rest in peace, Ron. Our sympathies, BJ, Jerome and Jodie.
